A good comfortable place with good service. Rooms are neat and clean with modern amenities. The view of river Alakananda is beautiful. The hotel has great collection of plants . The surroundings are lush green making it a good option for holiday

Worst food worst staff and very dirty rooms. Don't recommend this to. Anyone. Rooms had spiders in them, water in taps was very dirty not fit for evev bathing food served was stale and just microwaved. Toast was 2 days old

The resort is very aptly located on the road to Badrinath. We just stayed there for a day on our trip to Badrinath. Hotel staff is excellent and very helping, special thanks to reception man Gaurav. He upgraded our room with out extra charge and gave us the best location room in the resort. The panoramic view of river Ganga from the room was unbeatable. Food was also very good and reasonable priced. Overall a very good place to stay.

Riverside Resort - A Perfect Transit Resort

Riverside Resort is a lovely resort on the banks of the river Alakananda. Perfect transit halt for all travellers proceeding to Badrinath, Kedarnath, Joshimath, Auli etc as it is on the Rishikesh – Badrinath Highway and requires no detour. Our flight from Mumbai to Dehradun was delayed hence we reached here at about 8pm. The check was seamless and smooth. The staff is extremely professional and know their job well. The resort is really well maintained has lots of greenery, lawns and potted plants all around the restaurant area. The rooms were spacious, neat and clean but could do with some refurbishing and new upholstery or may be better lighting. The rooms are provided with a small but efficient room heater which is an essential requirement. We were tired and hungry after a real long day. We ordered the meal immediately on checking in and it was served without any delay to our surprise. Dinner was fresh and simply delicious and we got a feeling that our 9 days long vacation with end destination - Auli, would be an amazing food fest of North Indian delights. We gobbled up the delicious meals in a jiffy. . Morning woke up to the beautiful Alakananda river view visible from our room balcony. The typical North Indian breakfast of Puri aloo was delicious. Overall we had an amazing overnight stay at Riverside Resort. A special thanks to Gaurav Singh Chauhan and team.

We stopped overnight on the way back from Badrinath to Chandigarh. The resort is on the main Rishikesh - Badrinath highway near to Srinagar, Uttrakhand. Excellent location overlooking the Alaknanda river valley view from the balcony of the room. The property is huge with ample inhouse parking. The room was spacious with neat and clean toilet. The food was good. Will recommend for overnight halt to break journey to and from Badrinath
